Things could not be simpler. Nice paradigm. A surge in home businessmen and businesswomen proves this.

But then people still fail in their ventures. There could not be better time. There could not be a better platform. But people still do not capitalize the opportunity to its full extent. What could be the reason?

You come across a genuine person. Your words start delivering the better message. Your results start improving and success prepones its appointment with you.

There could not be better key to success in home business. It is easier to admire a successful person’s working. But when we want the same success, the input has to be of similar nature.

As he parted after a long discussion he gave the final blow, “There will be no perfect time any day. If you postpone, it will fizzle out.”

Often I receive emails of people who ask when they should start their business. I have passed through same kind of phase. I will repeat the advice my friend gave me.

“NOW.”

Yes! Now is the right time for anything.

When we dream about a venture, knowingly or subconsciously we attach a state of perfection with that dream. It is a human habit. When mind dreams it does with perfection.

But reality is different. You might already have prior engagements that won’t leave you with perfect state of conditions to pursue your dreams. Shall you wait so that things become better? Well! The conditions did not improve in my case and as I see now they never become perfect.

A dream has to pass through congested reality before it could be realized.
Start now. The chaos which you face today would be present tomorrow also. These are the most frequent questions that trouble the mind of a potential starter.

# Where do I get extra time required?

Squeeze it. You do not need much of a time to work on the net. In case of business on the net, it is pretty manageable with small editing of your time management.

# What if I do not have resources?

Well! You need to search for what you can do. Cut down dispensable expenses like movies or eating out. Borrow if you can. If you are sincere enough you will find a way.

# I do not have a perfect plan.

Okay. Start with imperfect one that you have formulated. You can modify it along the way if you need. Start now. There is plenty to learn in the way. You cannot learn all before you start. And read this carefully. Nobody starts with perfect plan. Things shape up as you walk the path.

Action is what separates achievers from dreamers.

It is very easy to dream. There is no cost involved, no hindrance of any kind to stop the mind. Dreaming is the first step towards any endeavor. But dream must be followed by action to realize that dream.

If it is not followed by action a dream has got no meaning. World is full of wasted ideas and talents. Don’t let that happen to you.

Why are you not in business then?

Many a people know that money can be made on the internet. A lot of them also know that potential is huge.

But why then they do not start their own business and earn money.

Thousand people can come and tell you ‘Yes there is lot of money’ and you form an opinion.

Another would come and say it is not true and your mind will raise the alarm.

Because you still doubt what you know.

You have not faced the truth. You have just heard the truth.

You need to walk the path to face the truth.

Then you will be unshakable.

That is a very pleasing statement. That is a soothing and exciting statement.
But you will realize this only when you take an action. Before that this knowledge is just hearsay.

As you start you learn to walk further. Use your knowledge to guide you in the initial part. Don’t let fear cloud your judgment. Know a people like you who have walked before. That would keep your mind unclouded and head steady.

Soon you will see and realize the truth.

I do not remember how I got started but after a while I started searching for money earning opportunities on the net. I would sit and search for long hours every day. I would search till my eyes get sore. I was wasting my time but I did not know. Everyday I would search and click new sites.

I laugh now at what I searched for! I would type ‘Earn without investment’, ‘Money on the net’ etc. etc. I did not want to invest. I wanted free money. Are you laughing with me!

Search for these terms and see. You get tons of results but nothing is actually what it promises.

Then I got something. I came to know about ‘Get paid programs’. Wow! Finally I would be paid for doing nothing (Are you sure you do nothing. Just calculate the amount of time you spend to earn a pittance. Even if you make few cents it is not guaranteed that you will ever lay your hands on that.)

Excited I joined many. Everyday I opened my mail box and clicked. Everyday before sleeping I checked my accounts and calculate how much I made.

A number of months passed before my slumber broke. I was getting sick of this clicking and checking the timers and not being paid that pittance I earned with so much labor. I was disappointed and disillusioned too. But I could not give up. Idea of making money from computer just did not leave me.

I needed to change my attitude.

Some more research took me to the level where I could start my home business with some investment. I did fumble in the beginning being new to internet marketing. But I worked and things became better. I am now where I had dreamed only…. ‘Earning money from my computer at my home’

I wasted quite a lot of time due to my ignorance and hunt for free money. I still remember that period when I would spend hours to earn few cents. Just because I did not want to take the risk of investing

Majority of them are scams. Genuine programs cannot afford to give you more than few cents per day. If you want to make good money you should start your own home based business. A business that would earn you actual money. A business that would earn what you work for.

I would recommend to start with affiliate programs as they provide you with readymade product and you have to deal with marketing part only. If you are new to the marketing like I was affiliate programs will give you good launch pad. When you advance you will get aware of your interests. You can work on your products while you learn about the basics.

This model suggests that advertising must gain customer’s attention, arouse the person’s interest followed by desire for the product and stimulate the action towards the purchase of the product.

This explains and guides how to formulate your advertising. Successful marketers have followed AIDA for generating successful advertisement campaigns.

AIDA is good but is not that well defined. Another model that has gained popularity and is more comprehensive than AIDA is DAGMAR. Its steps are more defined and thus easier to apply than AIDA.

DAGMAR stands for ‘Defining Advertising Goals for Measured Advertising Results’.

It maintains that all advertisement aiming at a sale must carry the potential customer through four stages.

-Awareness

-Comprehension

-Conviction

-Action

Let us assume that you have a product and your target customer is totally unaware of it.

So in first stage you make him aware of the product. For example posting an advertisement on a high traffic website.

Second stage is comprehension. What is your product about? What are its potential benefits and features? How can your customer get it? This is achieved when your potential customer clicks your posted advertisement and reaches the page that contains details of your product.

Next is the stage of conviction. This is very important stage. You need to convince your customer about benefits of your product. Testimonial for your products is an excellent tool to achieve this stage. Visible proof or evidence is another great tool. But be genuine or this won’t work in the long run.

After he is convinced with your product, your potential customer enters into stage of action. This may involve a request for further details, ordering a trial offer if available or the actual sale itself.

Whatever model you may use to build your campaign it must be remembered that a sale is not an instant process. On the contrary it is sequence of the events that your potential customer’s mind goes through. Each stage has to be preceded by the previous. Each one is essential and crucial for a successful sale.

That should remind that instead of running a ‘Buy Me’ advertisement concentration should be on making the flow in the advertisement that begins with introduction of what you intend to sell and why people should buy it.
