Create A Realistic Plan For Your Success
August 19, 2008 by Arun Pal Singh
Success is the most desired ambition of the human beings. Every one of us wants to be successful. But only few endeavor towards that purpose consciously whereas others rely on luck and chance to achieve their goals.
The best example in this case is someone who wants to get rich but only has one alternative: playing the Lotto. Of course, there are chances of becoming rich over night, but how likely is it that this will actually happen?
Creating a realistic plan in order to achieve the desired results is vital in any case, no matter how high or low your ambitions are set and how high or low your hopes are.
The safest way to do this is by taking successive steps and gradually increasing your chances of reaching your ideal. The safest and surest.
Try to think of a metaphor and compare your desires with a professional swimming competition.
The first thing you need to do, in order to have chances of winning the race, is to make sure you are not afraid of the water. Before you even consider entering the race you have to eliminate your fears. They are the ones holding you back. But be careful! Some of your fears might save you from getting hurt or failing.
Once you are convinced that your goal is worth fighting for, you have to start the hardest stage in you plan: preparation.
To start with you must learn how to swim if you already do not know. You cannot expect to win a professional swimming race when you don’t even know how to swim. Start with the basics and never skip any steps out of desire of reaching your goal faster. The experience and knowledge you are skipping will probably come back and hurt you later on.
There is a price to pay for everything. Success too has its own price - Hard work
Prepare by taking gradually increasing steps. Swim half a lap first, and then move on to a full lap. Your skills will progress each time and you will soon beat your own lap records every time you enter the swimming pool.
It might take days, weeks or years to prepare for the “race”, depending on what your goals are. The main thing is to enter the race feeling confident in your own success and having all the skills that would allow you to win.
Taking steps one at a time and keeping your plan realistic gives you two important benefits. The order and precision of a plan brings confidence. You don’t feel like you are reengaging each new issue on a day-to-day basis. Organizing your strategy reduces the chances of making wrong moves or taking less efficient decisions.
Secondly, having a sound plan has many psychological benefits and your subconscious mind worries less. This gives you more energy to concentrate on what’s important. You are creating a pattern in your awareness that accepts success and integrates it in your plan.
When both you conscious and your subconscious mind believe in your chances of reaching a goal you benefit from a power of concentration and focus that eliminate outside interference and let you follow the shortest path to success.
Even though chance may still play an important role in your quest to reach your ideal, having a realistic plan lets you change the “unlikely” into “possible”.
Wish you success.

Do you know that you can promote your home business absolutely free of cost? Moreover you can generate quality traffic of the potential prospects who will come to your site because they are interested in what you sell.
Yes! It can be done absolutely free. And it is fun too.
# Write and publish articles -
This is the best traffic generation method. Write articles centered on the theme of your home business niche and submit them to the article directories. There are thousands of article website that are eager to publish your articles. When you write make it sure that you write an article well. Your article when published will be an unending source of quality traffic.
Your resource box in the end of article will serve as the link to your website. Make your article interesting enough so that the reader reads till the end and is intrigued enough to click the link in the end.
Writing a good article is not that difficult. Think about an idea and expand it. Write as much you can while taking care of the typos and grammatical error. After you finish it close it down and relax. Review it next day for editing. You will be surprised to find the changes you can make to improve your articles.
Search for article directories in Google or Yahoo. Compile your own list and submit to them one by one. Most of article submissions are free. It may take a while when you do itg for the first time as you need to create account with the site before you can submit. After you are through with account creation the whole thing will become an easy process.
A good article is judged by its content. It should be informative enough and of value for the publisher and the reader. Article body as such should not have links nor should it appear to be blatant sales letter. And of course no typos or grammatical error.
# Blog them and receive them-
Open an account with blogger.com. This easy setup doesn’t take more than 15 minutes. Publish this on your site. Now you own a blog. You are free to write whatever you want. But again the content will draw most readers.
You can put your links in your blog unlike restrictions in your articles. Write anything. About your experience, your problems or what you did today. Anything.
Share your thoughts with the world. More frequently you write more is the traffic. If people like your blog they will visit again. Write at least daily for maximum gain
# Free e-book -
Write a report on what you know or about your business. Make an e-book out of that report. PDF books are easy to create and they can be created free at adobe.com without any purchase or liability of purchase. Post that e-book on your and your partners’ site.
Mention that people if interested can post it on there site for free. When customer loads it he will visit to your site by the contained link. When your e-book is distributed enough it will bring in substantial traffic
# Acquire links -
There are millions of websites. Just imagine if you have your links posted on 1000 sites out of them. Considering 1/10 click through rate you will receive at least 100 visitors per day considering one visitor per site. Do the math and think!
More links you have more are the chances of getting visitors.
Getting link is very easy now with free dedicated services being available like linkmarket.net. You just need to open an account and there you go for a link ride. One word of caution though. Exchange links with sites similar to your own business. And avoid link farms.
If you are persistent with above methods you will see a consistent jump in the traffic over 4 - 6 months traffic and a better ranking in the search engines
Good luck. It is time for some work now.
Tips To Build A Business Website
August 17, 2008 by Arun Pal Singh
A website is lifeline of internet home business. In order to succeed you must have a website that that meets the general criteria of accepted standards. Flavor of each site varies according to the intended business and choice of the owner. But there are guidelines which should be kept in mind while you work to develop your own e-shop.
First of all is the domain name. It is the address to your website. So it should be kept simple and easy to remember. Try as for as possible to include letters only in your website name. Numbers are most easily forgotten. So are the hyphens and underscores. They take time to get registered and fade quickly. Domain names should be themed around your business. Try to keep it short and sweet.
Focus on your customer. Always keep your customers first. Remember! Everybody is busy and so are your customers. Nobody will have the time to search for your products if you do not guide them well. With this in mind a website should be developed for maximum benefit. There are other things which appear small and obvious but together they add up to quite a difference to your home business.
To name a few —
# Orientation - What is your website? What can a visitor get from your site?
# Fast loading - Very essential. If it takes a long time the person will definitely get annoyed and close the page. There goes your potential sale.
# Easy Navigation - Can the customer move through your site effortlessly back and forth from each page? Are the hyperlinks working well? Make sure they do.
# Professional Look- Though you are not suppose to display best of the web designs but your site should look professional enough and appealing to the eye. Your site should be smart and crisp. Choose your theme well and go for it.
# Content rich site - Try and give all the relevant information that your potential customer might need. Again the information should be well displayed and easy to understand.
# Contact us - It is almost mandatory. Where should a person leave his query in case the need arise. You might debate and decide on your physical address yourself but an email contact is must.
# Coordinated color pattern - Make sure that foreground background are well matching. Your font and text should be pleasing and not difficult to read.
# Careful use of graphics - graphics are pleasing to the eye but take a lot of time to load. So you should strike a balance. People have a temptation to use a lot of graphics but do keep in mind that all the best business sites are mostly text based. Take for example Google or Yahoo. No truck loads of graphics. Only well used text with spares use of graphics.
If you make your website keeping your customers’ needs in view then automatically you would like to consider the above listed points. As I said many of them look too obvious but often we overlook the things because they are obvious.
Make sure you do not. Try them and see the difference.

How To Cut Expenses In Your Business
August 16, 2008 by Arun Pal Singh
If you own a small business, you should know that often times it can be the little things, rather than the large expenses, that can eat away at your budget. But many times, small business owners will try and increase their profits by looking around at what larger expenses they can cut.
If you are looking to save some cash in your business, why not pay attention to our “small time” cost cutter ideas. You’ll find that if you add them up, they may just save you more than a penny!
And actually together they do save a lot.
#Change Your Plastic Options
If you own a small web site that doesn’t do tons of online business, then chances are you don’t need a merchant account. These can be costly, and probably won’t pay for itself unless you do a robust business. But instead of losing business by not accepting credit cards, you can use one of the other options such as Paypal or Clickbank. 2checkout.com is another good option for the few countries not accepted by clickbank.
With these types of payment systems, clients can use their credit cards, and once the transaction is complete, the money is instantly deposited in your online account. Then you will simply need to transfer it to your bank account. You can even run your own affiliate programme with these services.
They are good and not expensive. You pay per sale rather than annoying monthly charges.
You will need to do some comparisons before switching services. Make sure that the transaction fees won’t cost more than the fees you are currently paying.
#Change Your Calling Options
What are you paying for long distance phone calls? Depending on the company, it’s possible that you could save hundreds per year if you switched to another. Because of stiff competition, you should be able to go online and find the perfect rate for your needs.
And if you hold a lot of business meetings on the phone, don’t forget to check into teleconferencing or web conferencing as a less expensive solution!
#Change Your Internet Options
The days are gone when you have to pay a fortune for an ISP server. In addition to the big boys, there are a great many smaller ISPs that will just as good of a job-if not better-for your business.
The key is negotiation and research.
Start by looking online by typing in search terms as “affordable ISP,” and “cheap Internet Service.” Once you’ve found a few, begin to compare rates and services.
Now, if you already pay twice as much with one of the larger companies, call them up and tell them that unless they can lower your rate, you’ll have no option than to switch to another company.
Many times, they will compensate you in the form of free months, or downright lower your fee. If they won’t budge, then you’ve already researched your other options, so make the move!
Can you see by just taking some time and looking at these areas how you can feasibly save hundreds of dollars per year in your small business? Get creative and figure out other ways to save.
Could you book your trips last minute and save one-half or more on your travel expenses?
Where do you buy your office supplies?
Do you buy in bulk?
Remember, it’s great when you can cut the large expenses, but that’s not always possible. Don’t forget the small stuff, too!
Wish you success.

Every one of us wants to succeed. But we have few people whom we can call really successful in a big way. Rest of us fall in different places of spectrum between failure and success. Why it is so? How do successful people achieve so much and others do not.
